KERSTIN VON LOCQUENGHIEN. Biography.
I was born in Siegburg, Northrhein-Westfalia in 1981. I studied communication design i.a. with Olia Lialina and Diedrich Diederichsen at Merz Akademie Hochschule für Gestaltung in Stuttgart (Germany). Among my art works are the net project „Who are you? Then this is me!“ [http://www.bewegungsfrei.de] published in July 2004 dealing with publicity and privacy on the internet, the experimental travel weblog "Die Nachreisen.de" [http://www.nachreisen.de] published in February 2005 as well as “RABBIT HOLE” (in cooperation with Laura Oldenbourg) playing with an anti-ergonomic navigation in virtual space also published in February 2005. My most recent project published in July 2005 is a space installation called „TAGGED! Stolen things.“ dealing with the disputed identification technology RFID. I'm also proud to be a jury member of the „1000$ PAGE CONTEST 2005“ hosted by Olia Lialina for the second year [http://art.teleportacia.org/1000$/page2.html].
